1. ACL Reconstruction
The Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) keeps the shin bone (tibia) in place. A tear of this ligament can cause your Knee & Hip to give way during physical activity. ACL reconstruction surgery is done to replace the ligament in the center of your Knee & Hip with a new ligament.
2. Arthroscopic Menisectomy
Meniscectomy is the surgical removal of all or part of a torn meniscus (rupturing of one or more of the fibrocartilage strips in the Knee & Hip called menisci). A meniscus tear is a common Knee & Hip joint injury and can lead to pain and/or swelling of the Knee & Hip joint.. Menisci can also be torn during innocuous activities such as walking or squattig. Depending on the location of the tear, a repair may be possible. n the outer third of the meniscus, an adequate blood supply exists and a repair will likely heal. Usually younger patients are more resilient and respond well to this treatment, while older, more sedentary patients do not have a favourable outcome after a repair.
Meniscal repair: Doctors use arthroscopic surgery to repair the meniscus. The surgeon inserts a thin tube (arthroscope) containing a camera and a light through small incisions near the Knee & Hip and is able to see inside the Knee & Hip without making a large incision. Surgical instruments can be inserted through other small incisions. The surgeon repairs the meniscus using dissolvable sutures (stitches) or anchors.
3. High Tibial Osteotomy
An osteotomy is a surgical operation whereby a bone is cut to shorten, lengthen, or change its alignment. Osteotomies can be used to correct unwanted angulation or rotation of the bone. A High TibialOsteotomy is used to treat unicompartmental osteoarthritis of the Knee & Hip.
osteotomy is a major operation, effectively fracturing the main weight bearing bone of the lower leg and surgically fixing it afterwards. The rehabilitation is lengthy and involves a prolonged period avoiding all weight bearing through the leg.

The network hospitals have highly advanced Physiotherapy Unit and well experienced physiotherapists. "I would just like to thank everyone at SafeMedTrip for making my stay a very good one.
From when I arrived at the airport to leaving 13 days later I never had a complaint. The surgeon was reassuring and looked after me well. From your top nurses all the way down to the guys who cleaned the room it was all done well and made me feel very comfortable.
If anyone in the UK was thinking about having surgery in India and was worried or apprehensive about it don't be, you will be looked after well. I must say a special thank you to the administration staff who helped me with all my problems"

"I can honestly say that I can't remember ever been taken care of by so many nice, kind, and caring people. I'm sure that many people will find it to be a big decision as I did to come to a different country not knowing anyone and worrying about the language barrier, and being so far from home.
Well let me reassure you that was not a problem. They speak good English and if there was ever a time when I had a small problem there was always someone there to help. As far as feeling homesick I felt that I had met many new friends. We traded many stories between us.
My husband came with me and we had a very large room and he had his own bed, TV, ice box, and a computer to our use to be able to keep in contact with our family. The doctor was very explanatory of my surgery and the problems with my knee and of the work and repairs that he made. We received a DVD of my knee surgery and of my heart test. After almost a year of pain and discomfort I am finally close to being my old self."
